With this paper, my group and I attempted to sythenzise as much of the current scholarship around First Year Seminars as possible. While it was more difficult than we had initially anticipated, we were able to begin to ask ourselves– are first year seminars high impact practices? Or are they quickly becoming practices that just have a high impact?

The reflection I did about being a part of first-year seminars in undergrad was the first assignment I turned in for this course. Little did I know, I would end up completing a culminating piece about First-Year Seminars for this class– thereby effectively creating a front and end bookend for my course about High Impact Practices.
